Disney World!!

We just got back last night from being in Disney World for a few days. We had way too much fun, although being absolutely exhausted every evening isn't exactly fun, especially with a 7 month old. Kyla did so well though. She had a few fits from being exhausted and hot (it was blazing hot the whole time), but overall, she was a great sport.

Ed, my father-in-law, had a conference in Disney, so he brought along the family to enjoy the parks while he was in meetings. Nate is still in China, so he couldn't go. This is the second time I have gone to Disney world with Nate's family without him. Poor Nate :)

I tried uploading pictures onto xanga, but it just wasn't working. If you want to see pictures of the past week, try going to http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2046054&l=fcbdb&id=141303528

i'm back

i'm back...
- back to Xanga
- back to America
- back to clear skies and bright sunshine
- back to family and friends

Just in case you haven't been following, we've been in China for the past 4 years; but we are back in America for good - at least for now :)

Kyla and I arrived back in America on Friday the 13th of this month. Nate is still in Beijing until July 1. We will be living in the west Chicago area- around Wheaton. Nate was just accepted to teach at Wheaton Academy this coming school year. He is very excited about this particular teaching position. Wheaton Academy is a private, Christian high school with over 900 students- including international boarding school students.

Kyla is 7 months old and absolutely adorable. She has done exceptionally well with all the recent transition. I'm so proud of her!! ( I will try to post pictures in the next few days. If you are just dying to see pictures of her, you can go to www.dropshots.com/leahleman).

Please pray for us as we transition back into life in America. Believe it or not, it is normal to deal with "culture shock" coming back too. We are very excited to be back in our home country, but will definitely miss our host country of 4 years.
